CMA has consistently provided continuous development opportunities for professionals and contributed to society. We co-organized a seminar with the Kowloon East Regional Headquarters of the Hong Kong Police Force, to fundraise for “Project PINPOINT” and donate Bluetooth location tracking devices on May 16. This helps to reduce the risk of persons with cognitive impairments or the elderly getting lost. More than 80 CMA members attended the seminar. Senior Vice President of CMA, Professor Allen Wong, invited the following guest speakers: the Secretary for Housing of Hong Kong, Ms. Winnie Ho Wing-yin JP, and the Project Coordinator of Project PINPOINT, the Regional Commander of Kowloon East, Dr. Law Yuet-wing. The seminar provided CMA members with an opportunity to learn more about Project PINPOINT and how the location tracking devices can benefit those with cognitive impairments and elderlies. Attendees were able to interact with the guest speakers and understand the implementation and objectives of this important community initiative. The strong turnout demonstrated the CMA’s commitment to supporting meaningful social causes and leveraging the expertise of its members to make a positive impact.
