The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) offers seven membership grades, from CMA to Student Memberships, with specific benefits. Members gain professional development, networking, and recognition. Join a prestigious community committed to excellence.
Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) program is a foundational qualification for bookkeepers and aspiring accountants.
Registered Cost Accountant (RCA)
The RCA program, part of the Graduate Program, requires passing a university entrance exam and includes 8 units over two stages: the CAT program and Stage 2 of the GMA program.
Registered Business Accountant (RBA)
The RBA program builds on the RCA program by including Stage 3 of ICMA’s Graduate Program, providing advanced training for aspiring management accountants.
Graduate Management Accountant (GMA)
The Graduate Member program comprises four stages: CAT, RCA, RBA, and GMA, each with four subjects. It spans foundational to advanced management accounting topics. Graduates can apply for Associate membership (AMA) with three years of experience and may receive credits for partial studies at recognized institutions.
CMA Program
The CMA level program, ICMA’s flagship, provides advanced skills in strategic cost management, management accounting, and business analysis. Graduates gain in-depth knowledge of current professional developments, qualifying them for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) title.
