Membership Application Process

Any properly qualified individual may apply for membership using the provided application form. Applications must be submitted to the Secretary. It is also recommended to obtain a copy of the ICMA Constitution for reference.

Application Review Process:

• Referral: The Secretary will refer all applications to the Membership Committee promptly.
• Consideration: The Membership Committee will review each application and make a recommendation to the Executive Committee as soon as possible.
• Decision: The Executive Committee will decide whether to accept or reject the application at the earliest opportunity.

Membership Confirmation:

• Approval by the Executive Committee.
• Payment of the annual subscription and any entrance fee.
• Entry of the applicant’s details into the register of members.

The Secretary will notify applicants in writing regarding the outcome of their application. When secure electronic payments are available, we will introduce an online application form for membership applications and renewals.
