Mr. Ip Shu Kin

The cornerstone of finance is its ubiquitous importance across personal and business growth and its subjectivity. To understand both crucial points, one needs to possess not only financial acumen but also a great passion for pursuing the field.

Andy Ip is a finance and accounting professional by vocation, with more than two decades of progressive experience under his belt. His strengths lie in leading and optimizing areas of finance, including taxation, treasury management, auditing, and others. He possesses both an in-depth comprehension and drive to earn mastery within the fields of finance and accounting.  

With the education and credential, he holds an UK Honours Degree in Accounting and Financing, fellow membership of Institute of Certified Management Accountant, Australia, fellow Membership of Institute of Public Accountant, Australia and accredited Financial Controllership Program by Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants which arms Mr. Ip with the knowledge and insights required to master the practical application of relevant concepts. He continues to nurture his passion for continuous learning and growing as a Director of Finance.

Reporting to the head of the Finance Team, Mr.Ip leads the APAC team and oversights Asia Regional Subsidiaries in both accounting and taxation aspects. His responsibilities have him assuming a wide range of roles, including budgeting and financial control, facilitating top management decisions, statuary audit and tax filing, liaising with external auditors and legal and tax advisors, and handling ERP project implementation.

Leading a staff of over 60 members, the scope of his contributions encompasses leading Asia accounts. Mr. Ip has spent the majority of his career as a financial professional in the shipping and logistics industry. He marked his career with various achievements and certifications that play a huge role in his proficiency derived from his working experience in  world class brand such as Maersk logistics co, COSCO Shipping co and Omni logistics co.   

He continues to demonstrate great tenacity and vigor in his work, engaging his team in systematic solutions that enhance the organization’s financial operations. Through internal and external collaboration, Mr. Ip aims to stimulate positive change that impacts the organization’s bottom line.
