Dr. Tan Hoi Piew Bernard

Dr. Tan Hoi Piew (Bernard) is presently an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Accountancy and Management, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). He was also a Former Dean of the Faculty. Dr. Tan joined UTAR in July 2004.

Prior to joining the university, Dr. Tan was with the corporate and banking sector for 25 years. His career includes company secretarial practice, banking operations and credit cards.

Dr. Tan holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, Australia and an MBA from the University of Malaya. In terms of professional qualifications, he is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom and the Institute of Public Accountants, Australia.
