Mr. Samson Lui graduated as Master of Engineering at the University of Warwick, Postgraduate Diploma in Business at the University of Strathclyde, and China-MBA at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has been qualified as a Fellow of professional accountancy bodies, namely CMA (Aust.), IPA, IFA, and AIA. Samson is also a Certified Management Consultant of IMCHK, Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, and Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association.
Due to market challenges in the manufacturing industry since the dot-com bubble in 2000, Samson's career has grown up from the business context with competitive pricing, short lead times, and quick response to the market changes to fulfill client expectations in terms of committed quality and quick delivery. During the years, Samson has been 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆'𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆, 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. He is experienced in evaluating business context, formulating corporate development strategy & quantitative targets for the business owners, and 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. With the increasing responsibilities and challenges, Samson is well-known in strengthening operational efficiencies - short turnaround time and enhancing financial performance - revenue improvement throughout the supply chain process.
In 2019, Samson has been appointed as a Vice Chairman for the Committee of Strategic Development of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia (Hong Kong Branch). He is also an active Volunteer Graduate Mentor for the Warwick Alumni, to provide career advice for current Warwick students or recent graduates.
For social services, Samson joins the Hong Kong Road Safety Association since 2018 and serves as a Deputy Chief Supervisor under the Procedures and Planning Department.
