Mr. Andrew Luen Cheung Wong, is currently Independent Director and Vice Chairman of the Board, Huazhong In-Vehicle Holdings Co. Ltd. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Chubb Life Insurance Company Ltd. and Independent Director and Chairman of Renumeration Committee of the Board, Canadian Solar Inc. Previously, Mr. Wong held senior positions at the Royal Bank of Canada; the Union Bank of Switzerland; China Citicorp International Limited, a merchant banking arm of Citibank; Hang Seng Bank Limited and DBS Bank Limited, Hong Kong. Independent Director and Chairman of Nomination & Renumeration Committer of the Board, China CITIC Bank Mr. Wong was a member of the 11th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shaanxi Provincial Committee; also, a member of the China Overseas Friendship Association in Beijing. Mr. Wong was awarded the National Excellent Independent Director by the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2010 and received the Medal of Honour (Hong Kong SAR) from the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2011.

Cartier is a seasoned banker with over 30 years banking experience. He was the Executive Director and Chief Executive of the Bank of East Asia (China) Ltd. and also held a senior position at INGBank. Cartier’s deep insight into the mainland and Greater China markets has proved invaluable in his responsibilities of strategic planning, financial control, human resources, corporate and retail banking, and marketing and corporate communications.
A keen supporter of social issues, Cartier helped BEA China to establish the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation-BEA Fund, whose work now covers education, special-needs, and disaster reliefprogrammes nationwide. Cartier was an overseas director of the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation.
Cartier is also a member of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (“CPPCC”) of Shanghai, an overseas economic advisor to the Dalian Municipal Government, and aninvited member of CPPCC Dalian. He was the Vice President of the China Banking Association (“CBA”) and Director of its Foreign Bank Working Committee as well as the Vice Chairman ofShanghai Financial Association.
Cartier was born and grew up in Hong Kong. Hewas educated in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom,and Australia. He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of South Australia.
