Judy Tsui


Professor Judy Tsui
Senior Advisor, Institute for New Economic Thinking

Prof. Tsui is Senior Advisor of Institute for New Economic Thinking (among its Leadership Team, Founding Sponsors and Advisory Board members are 6 Nobel Laureates in Economics), and Director of Joy Sprouts, Inc. She is also a certified senior associate of AsiaCorp Enterprises Ltd. in the Leadership Architect suite of tools for assessment, selection, and development of leaders and talents at all levels. 

Prof. Tsui is an Elected Member of the Election Committee for the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR Government representing the Accounting Functional Constituency (2006 and 2012). She was Vice President (International and Executive Education) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2010-2014) and Chair Professor of Accounting (2002-2014), Dean of Faculty of Business (2002-2010), Director of Graduate School of Business (2003-2011). 

Prof. Tsui holds positions as Honorary Professor and Visiting Professor at several top universities in the Mainland. She has been appointed as a Visiting Scholar of the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA and is currently an Honorary Professor of the University of Warwick in the U.K. She was the first professor in Accounting who was awarded Cheung Kong Chair Professorship by the Ministry of Education in the Mainland (2005-2008). 

Prof. Tsui serves as a member of the Research Grants Council (2008-2014), and she served as a member of University Grants Committee (2008-2013), both appointed by the Hong Kong SAR Government. She has been appointed Member of Nominating Committee of International Federation of Accountants (2012-2015). 

Prof. Tsui served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of CLP Holdings Ltd (2005-2014) and China Vanke Co. Ltd. in the Mainland (2005-2011) and as its consultant   (2011-2013).

Ms. Patsy CHAN

Ms. Nixie Lam
District Councillor, Tsuen Wan District Council

Ms. Nixie Lam is among the youngest elected members at the 2011 HKSAR District Council Election. As a member of the largest political party, Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB), she was elected at the age of 29 in the Lai Hing (K10) district - an area developed under the Hong Kong Government's new town concept in the 1950s and one of the last areas in Hong Kong to be developed without the "Colony Outline Plan".

Graduated in Australia with a Bachelor of Art and Master of Business degree majoring in Marketing at The University of Queensland, Lam is also an honorary president of The University Alumni Association in Hong Kong. She has been serving in Hong Kong to promote Australian education and been working with her University, Brisbane Marketing and Australian Government at such.

Lam is also HK's only representing panelist at the 1st "Young Observers Roundtable discussion at the BOAO FORUM FOR ASIA 2014 ( ) and is now a committee member of the Youth Federation of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region; Lam also holds the Vice Treasurer position at The Y.Elite Association.

Ms. Chan Agnes Ching Mei

Prior to joining Artemis Associates as a Director, Ms. Agnes Chan was the Head of the Hong Kong Office – Board of Directors Office of China Construction Bank Corporation (‘CCB’) . She has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector and has worked for both the Canadian Federal Government and the Hong Kong Government as well as for listed companies in Hong Kong. 

Agnes was the Vice-President of Investor Relations at Pacific Century Insurance Holdings Limited (now known as “Ageas Insurance”) prior to joining CCB in 2004. She was responsible for pre-IPO work, formulating an investor relations program and communicating with the investment community following the Company’s listing. 

Agnes graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Canada with a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies and obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Agnes also earned a post graduate certificate from the University of California, Irvine in Investor Relations. She is a fellow of the Life Management Institute in USA and a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia). Agnes is the former Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association.

Ms. Mabel Chu is currently the Chief Operation Officer of E.I. Sturdza Investments (Asia) Limited, and specialises in sustainable and impact investing. Before joining E.I Sturdza, Ms. Chu was the Compliance Director of Baring Private Equity Asia Limited and was responsible for managing compliance and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) matters for the firm.  Prior to Baring Private Equity Asia, Ms. Chu was the Managing Director and head of the family office in Asia for the Rowland Family from 2011 to 2012, and from 2007 to 2010, she was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Standard Chartered Bank’s real estate private equity platform.  Ms. Chu is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales and Hong Kong and previously practised as a solicitor at Slaughter and May, and as in-house counsel for the Asia Pacific region at General Electric, HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank respectively.  Ms. Chu is a Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants and also holds an LLB degree from King’s College, University of London. Ms Chu was born in Hong Kong in 1970.  She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
