Victor Lee

Dr. Victor Lee currently is Executive Director of HKMA. Previously, he was Director of CUSCS (1999-2011), senior lecturer/associate professor at OUHK (1991-1999), and taught in the US, France and Macau. He has a PhD in Management from London University and a Master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Columbia University in 2007, and has attended executive programs at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. His current interest is about management education for sustainability.

Professor Lui Yu Hon
Director, Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional and Continuing Education (LiPACE), the Open University of Hong Kong

Professor Lui Yu-Hon is the Director of Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional and Continuing Education of The Open University of Hong Kong. He obtained his BBA (Hons) degree in General Business Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and MA (Distinction) and PhD degrees in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University, UK. He also holds professional qualifications in accounting, banking, company secretary and securities of local and professional bodies.

Professor Lui has substantial academic and professional experience in business administration, including accounting, banking, finance and education. He had taught at The City University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China for a total of twelve years. He was the founding programme leader of the first M.Sc Finance and M.Sc Banking programme in Hong Kong, before joining The Open University of Hong Kong in 1998. Professor Lui also serves as member and advisor on committees of different organizations, including Bank of Communication Trustee Limited, Cantonese Opera Development Fund, Employees Retraining Board, the Federation of Self-Financing Tertiary Education, Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualifications, Joint Quality Review Committee, etc. Other previous engagements in the financial sector included Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, Hong Kong Securities Institute, Insider Dealing Tribunal, Institute of Financial Planners in Hong Kong and Securities & Futures Commission etc.

 Benjamin Chan

Assistant Executive Director, Head Quarter (Academic Services), Vocational Training Council

Dr. Chan Tak Yuen, Benjamin is the Assistant Executive Director of Vocational Training Council. He has responsibility for a number of portfolio areas in academic services and also serves concurrently as the Director of the Research Support Unit. Dr. Chan is a seasoned tertiary education administrator who has worked in the continuing education, vocational education and UGC higher education sectors. He was formerly Head of the Research Support Unit in Lingnan University, Deputy Director of the Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional and Continuing Education of Open University Hong Kong and prior to that had worked for 17 years at HKU SPACE. Dr. Chan has academic expertise in health sciences and education and holds professional qualifications in biology, public health and teaching. He obtained his Doctor of Education degree from University of Durham, UK.

Dr. Keith Lam is currently the Deputy Principal of HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Community College. Prior to the present post, he has held positions as: Director of Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) at Lingnan University, Head of Division of Accounting at the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong (HKU SPACE), Executive Director and Head of Equity Research of an international securities firm, Head of Department of Accounting and Finance at Lingnan University, and Assistant Professor at Queen’s University and Dalhousie University in Canada.

Dr. Keith Lam received his MBA from McGill University in Canada and PhD. in Accounting from Manchester Business School in UK. He is also a CFPCM certificant, a Fellow member of Canadian Certified General Accountant (FCGA) and one of the Foundation members of the Institute of Certified Management Accountant.

Apart from being an educator, Dr. Lam has also extended his professional services to many professional bodies like the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), CGA-Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK).

Mr Li Tak Ming, Andy is the Head, Department of Business Administration of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwun Tong) of Vocational Training Council. He is a professional accountant in Hong Kong and UK, and holds a Master of Business in Administration. He has been working in educational field for more than 20 years. Prior to joining the educational field, he has many years of accounting experience in various corporations.

 Jennifer Ng

Ms. Jennifer Ng Glok Hong
Principal, Community College of City University

Ms. Jennifer Ng is the Principal of the Community College of City University (CCCU) since 2005. She provides executive leadership for CCCU, formulates and implements policies to develop CCCU as a financially sustainable leading provider of sub-degree education. Before joining CCCU, Ms Ng was Associate Director of HKU SPACE where she headed the Division of Management Studies and the Division of Finance. She was appointed as the first acting Principal of the HKU SPACE Community College from 1999 to 2001. She founded the Centre for International Degree Programmes of HKU SPACE. She was a subject specialist of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and a member of the Membership and Professional Development Committee of the Institute of Bankers.
